The
Reservation
There
may be more plush grass, bigger parking lots, better concession
stands and more comfortable bleachers in other stadiums in Southeast
Texas, but there is only one experience like Indian Stadium on a
Friday night. "There isn’t a doubt the best place we’ve ever played
has been over at Port Neches,”
Newton coach Curtis Barbay said. “Hell, they fire you up with their
fans. “I think that’s the highlight of
any kid’s career — playing there.” - Beaumont Enterprise,
August, 2003
